An MOU has been signed between XIDAS and TFRI ( Tropical Forest Research Institute Jabalpur in the presence of Dr.Fr. Dharam Kishore Lakra , SJ, Director XIDAS, Dr. Namrata V. Jasrotia , Principal ( XIMJ), Asst. Prof. Cecil Anthony , Dean Academics , Dr. Jogendra Pathak , H.oD, Rural Management. Dr. N Kulkarni, Director TFRI, Smt. Neelu Singh, Group Coordinator (Research), ICFRE-TFRI and Scientist of Different level of TFRI. The objective of the MOU is strengthening the Tropical Ecosystems and Collaboration in Education and Publications.
It has been agreed to collaborate in areas of Research pertaining to Forestry and other Allied Subjects, Conferences, Seminars, Webinars and Trainings and Development Workshop, Internship and Visit Opportunities at ICFRE- Tropical Forest Research Institute Jabalpur.
A presentation explaining the areas of scope was shared by both signing parties which helped in a better insight to a mutually beneficial collaboration in the next five years.
