Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 75th Independence Day was celebrated at XIDAS . The programme began with the Flag Hoisting by the Director Dr. Fr. Dharam Kishore Lakra SJ , followed by the National Anthem by all present. Next was the recitation of the Preamble of the Constitution and Slogans on Independence Day.

Another feather on the Cap as XIDAS gets an opportunity to bag the MOU with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (A registered body of Government of Madhya Pradesh under Public Service Management Department). XIDAS got the opportunity to mark its presence among the four Local Universities. Vice Chairman, Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi from AIGGPA and Dr.Fr.Dharam Kishore Lakra ,SJ. Director XIDAS at the MOU Signing Meet at MPT Kulchuri Residency South Civil Lines Jabalpur. Dr. Uma C Saha , Dean Academics & Dr. Namrata Vasudeo Jasrotia ,H.O.D Training & Capacity Building were also present for the event.

UN has decided on the theme of 'Leaving no one behind: Indigenous peoples and the call for a new social contract' for this year's International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples. XIDAS management incorporates Indigenous Day as an Academic Event and celebrates it every year. The members take Oath of the Indigenous peoples.

As an initiative to take responsibility to care for the Mother Nature and as a step towards the Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Society of Jesus (U.A.P) the XIDAS staff members were given saplings to be placed in every department of XIDAS Institute and were asked to properly maintain it.
